On Friday 13th July, the highly anticipated Ladies Evening returned to Chepstow Racecourse, this year with an after party DJ set from Scott Mills of BBC Radio One.
As well as the seven races on the track and the live entertainment, there was also a ‘Best Dressed’ competition with a massive £1000 prize.
This year, local lady Cher-Marie Scott was judged to be the best dressed by Caroline Nicholls of Caroline Nicholls Accessories and Millinery, Miss Wales 2018 (Bethany Harris) and Elle Bright of Elle Bright Photography.
Cher-Marie wore a beautiful yellow dress, well suited for the weather on the day and an exquisite hat which beautifully complimented the rest of her outfit.
When asked what she would spend the £1000 on she commented: “Thank you so much to the judges for choosing me as Best Dressed at Ladies Evening; it was a fantastic event and lots of beautiful ladies, I’m still in shock that I actually won! I’m splitting the prize money with my Mum as I feel like she deserved to win also.”
