Accessibility at Chepstow Racecourse

Chepstow offers a variety of facilities to ensure our racecourse is fully accessible. This includes free admission for registered personal assistants and a viewing platform for wheelchair users which overlooks the parade ring and track.

Corporate Venue Hire at Chepstow Racecourse

Facilities Include:

At Chepstow Racecourse, we have a wide range of facilities available to make our course as accessible as possible. These include:

  • Designated accessible parking close to the main entrance.
  • Most of our facilities are located at ground level, with wheelchair access to main public areas, eateries, bars and accessible toilets.
  • Service animals are welcome
  • We have one lift on site which is situated in the Premier Stand building entrance connecting the Ground Floor of the Premier Stand to the 1st Floor of the Premier Stand.
  • We have a raised viewing platform looking into the parade ring - this platform is managed by one of our stewarding team.
  • On all race days we will have a medical team that can assist should they be required.
  • There is a Unibet Racing #GoRacingGreen Safe & Quiet Zone located outside the Weighing Room, which you can use for the whole day, or pop in and out as you need.

Free Entry for Personal Assistants

To help ensure all guests are comfortable on their visit to Chepstow, personal assistants can be granted free admission to the racecourse when accompanying a paying guest with accessible needs.

Available to claim with proof of accessible needs on the day of racing e.g. Disability Living Allowance, Personal Independence Payment or signed letter from GP (with accompanying photo ID), please note to be eligible for a personal assistant ticket, you will need to buy a full price ticket and speak to a member of staff on the turnstiles about claiming your free personal assistant badge.

Please email info@chepstow-racecourse.co.uk at least 24 hours in advance with your name and details of the fixture if you wish to attend and arrange a personal assistant badge. Subject to availability.
