Owners & Trainers

Owners, Syndicates and Shared Ownerships may request up to 8 complimentary Owners & Trainers badges per runner, which need to be registered through PASS in advance of the day. The Owners & Trainers badges will give you access to the Owners & Trainers Restaurant and will include a complimentary luncheon.

Alternatively, any owner with a runner on the day may request a minimum of 20 syndicate badges which will give you access to the Syndicate Lounge.

Chepstow Racecourse does not offer a mixture or combination of both options, so Owners must choose in advance if they wish to enjoy the Owners & Trainers or Syndicate Lounge facilities.

Eight owners can be admitted per horse into the Parade Ring. We do appreciate this is an important part of any owner's visit, and if you require more badges, please contact us and send a request in advance. Please note, however, even though we try to be as flexible as possible, upon request we cannot guarantee more than 8 Parade Ring passes due to capacity limits.

For any Owner or a Syndicate who would like to bring more guests or members for their race day, we are happy to allocate a minimum of 20 Syndicate badges. These will offer complimentary access to our Syndicate Lounge and all the public areas of the racecourse.

To claim these syndicate badges, please do not go through the PASS system and instead contact us directly, by emailing syndicates@chepstow-racecourse.co.uk with the name of your horse, time of your race, and a list of those you wish to attend. This should be completed no later than 17:00 the day before racing. Please note that it is imperative that all those listed are named with an email address.

Located to the right of the Owners & Trainers entrance, The Owners & Trainers Restaurant is exclusively reserved for all Owners & Trainers with runners each Raceday, offering a complimentary luncheon and afternoon cakes (which can be claimed with a valid voucher), along with teas, coffees and access to a bar area and tote service. We can also cater to specific dietary, and all allergy needs if you contact us in advance of the day of your visit.

The restaurant is located separately to the main O&T Bar and Viewing Area, giving you a relaxing space to enjoy your luncheon. However, please be advised that tables within O&T may not be reserved for the day, and we politely ask once you finish dining, to please be considerate of other O&T and vacate the premises. We also kindly ask O&T to share table space with other O&T when necessary.

Chepstow Racecourse is part of Arena Racing Company (ARC), and we are committed to the following Owners & Trainers policy, designed to offer a better service to one of our key customer groups.

The PASS system is used for administering Owners & Trainers admission badges. Please present your new PASS card as soon as you arrive at our racecourse. If you have not yet received your new card, please contact pass@weatherbys.co.uk.

To help us provide quick and efficient access to the course, please manage your badge allocation in advance, and pre book your guest or syndicate badges via the website www.rcapass.com.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Chepstow Racecourse! On your arrival, please head for the Owners & Trainers entrance located to the right hand side of the main entrance, where we will provide you with your badges and a quick, detailed briefing on the day ahead.

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available on site, and you can register easily from the O&T and Syndicate Lounges. It’s worth noting that once you’ve registered for Wi-Fi at one of our Arena Racing Company racecourses, you will automatically have access each time you visit!

Here at Chepstow Racecourse, nothing is more important to us than the safety and welfare of both the horses and the jockeys. Central to this is the quality of our track, and our dedicated groundstaff work tirelessly to maintain an optimum racing surface.

On Racedays, a highly trained team of vets, doctors and paramedics are on duty, following the action closely to provide immediate care if needed. Carefully coordinated to ensure rapid response, a high-specification horse ambulance is also present at every fixture, enabling safe transfer either to our on-site veterinary treatment facility or to a nearby equine hospital if required.

When medical attention is needed, privacy screens are routinely used to create a calm, safe and focused environment for all competitors. Please do not assume the worst when screens are erected.

Please be assured we are fully committed to minimising risk in the sport and maintain the highest possible quality of care for the horses and jockeys who race at Chepstow Racecourse.

For Owners and Trainers to view the racing at Chepstow Racecourse, there is a balcony immediately outside the O&T Bar.

All racing from Chepstow is also broadcast live on Sky Sports Racing Channel 415.

Owners with runners are permitted to enter Chepstow Parade Ring for their race.

An allocation of eight Parade Ring badges is offered per runner, and we try to be flexible where we can if we receive requests in advance for additional Parade Ring passes.

It’s worth noting that children who are aged under 12 are not permitted access into the Parade Ring.

Hosted in our new Winning Connections suite, winning connections are invited to watch a re-run of their race with a presentation by Martin Higgs and a celebratory glass of Monopole Champagne.

Every winning Owner, Trainer and Jockey can enjoy a presentation will receive memento from the day. All winning owners will also receive a complimentary photograph, and for those who are not present on the day, the memento will be handed to your Trainer or a representative of your choice.

We offer winning, placed and all Owners on the day complimentary USB copies of their race. Please note that multiple copies are available should syndicates or stable staff require them.

All announcements about inspections or the abandonment of racing or races will be made through Racing Admin, or you can keep up to date via our social media @Chepstow_Racecourse including Facebook, X and Instagram.

On Racedays, feedback postcards or ROA QR codes are available in all O&T facilities. Please take the time to complete these and hand in to a member of staff.

Bookmakers also operate on the rail between the Premier and Grandstand Enclosures.

Owners & Trainers are entitled to reserved priority parking in the main car park which they can find with the direction of our parking stewards.

To find us, the best postcode to access the car park via Sat Nav is NP16 6EH. If you use What Three Words, please use hoped.myself.data.

Please note that accessible parking is also available and if you’re visiting us by train, Chepstow is the nearest train station, located 2 miles from the racecourse. There are also regular buses from the station to outside the racecourse.

A Going Report for all race days at Chepstow is made seven days before each fixture and updated regularly through TurfTrax.

For those who would like to bring children along to Chepstow, children accompanied by an adult are welcome in our O&T facilities.

We offer a maximum of two places to those aged under 12, including luncheon, and for those aged over 12, they will be considered as part of an Owner's badge allocation and will require an O&T badge and luncheon voucher for access.

If the O&T menu offered on the day is not suitable for your child, please ask the Host and we will be pleased to provide alternative dining options.

The O&T restaurant and Bar area can both be accessed with wheelchairs. There is also an accessible viewing platform undercover and overlooking the finishing straight.
